Delta One check-in area opens at LAX – Business Traveller

Delta One customers “will be greeted by a team of Elite Service agents dedicated to providing white-glove service, and the space will offer refreshing towels as well as light food and beverage offerings”.

Phase one of the $2.3 billion Delta Sky Way project was unveiled in March last year, featuring a centralised check-in lobby, expanded security checkpoint and baggage claim areas, and a new Delta Sky Club.

Other recently completed enhancements include 100 additional seats within the lounge, the re-opening of the original Terminal 3 passenger tunnel with direct access to baggage claim, and an enlarged T3 Help Centre.

An airside connector between Terminal 3 and to the Tom Bradley International Terminal is set to open in August, eliminating the need to catch a bus between terminals.

Delta will operate over 150 peak-day flights 52 destinations this summer, and is set to launch a new rote between Los Angeles and Auckland in October.

“I am eager for guests to enjoy Delta’s new West Headhouse and Delta One Check-in and ticketing lobby at LAX’s Terminal 3, in addition to the entire Delta Sky Way project when it opens later this summer.

“These projects truly are establishing the new norm of first-rate guest experiences passengers will find across LAX.”
