Delta One check-in area opens at LAX – Business Traveller

Delta One customers “will be greeted by a team of Elite Service agents dedicated to providing white-glove service, and the space will offer refreshing towels as well as light food and beverage offerings”.

Phase one of the $2.3 billion Delta Sky Way project was unveiled in March last year, featuring a centralised check-in lobby, expanded security checkpoint and baggage claim areas, and a new Delta Sky Club.

Other recently completed enhancements include 100 additional seats within the lounge, the re-opening of the original Terminal 3 passenger tunnel with direct access to baggage claim, and an enlarged T3 Help Centre.

An airside connector between Terminal 3 and to the Tom Bradley International Terminal is set to open in August, eliminating the need to catch a bus between terminals.

Delta will operate over 150 peak-day flights 52 destinations this summer, and is set to launch a new rote between Los Angeles and Auckland in October.

Commenting on the news Justin Erbacci, chief executive officer of Los Angeles World Airports, said:
