First Radisson-branded hotel opens in Belgium – Business Traveller

Liège is the third most populous urban area in Belgium after Brussels and Antwerp, and an important inland port close to the borders of both the Netherlands and Germany.

Radisson Hotel Group is gradually expanding its Radisson Hotels brand beyond its US focus, with recent openings at airports in Oslo, Riyadh and Johannesburg.

Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre brings the groups Belgian portfolio to 15 properties, including the Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels, which Business Traveller recently reviewed.

Commenting on the opening Kevin Demarteau, General Manager of Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre, said:

“We are excited to introduce our first Radisson branded hotel to Belgium, and to Liège, and tap into the rising trend of bleisure travel.

“Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre reflects our local culture in Liège from the black and white photographs to the curated snacks and drinks on the menu, including Curtius, Val-Dieu, and Tripick beers. We hope that both our business and leisure guests will enjoy the Radisson experience.”
