Hilton to debut Waldorf Astoria brand in India – Business Traveller

Hilton has announced plans for the first Waldorf Astoria property in India.

Waldorf Astoria Jaipur will offer 51 pool villas and 174 rooms across a 22 acre development overlooking the Aravalli Hills.

Facilities will include a spa, outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, 2,400 sqm of meeting space and a further 3,000 sqm of lawns, courtyards and gardens.

The hotel will also feature five dining options, including the brand’s signature Peacock Alley lounge and bar concept.

Waldorf Astoria Jaipur is expected to open in 2027, and will join Hilton’s portfolio of 24 hotels currently operating in India, as well as a further 13 properties in the pipeline.

There are currently around 30 Waldorf Astoria properties worldwide, with recent additions including the Waldorf Astoria Lusail, Doha, and the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, a conversion of the former Trump International Hotel Washington DC.

A further 20 properties are in the pipeline in destinations including the SeychellesOsaka and Sydney, and Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch is slated to open in 2025.
