The airline will continue to commemorate the occasion with a special Mile High Tea in Upper Class and Premium over the weekend, which will include three finger sandwiches with fillings of dill cream cheese and roasted peppers, cheddar cheese, pickle and mixed leaf, and vegetarian coronation chickpea.
Sweet snacks will include a warm scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and a trio of mini pâtisseries: raspberry and rosewater macaroon, calisson white chocolate and earl grey ganache, and a red, white and blue Battenburg.
The airline will also celebrate the Easter bank holiday weekend by serving Cocoba chocolate lollies in all cabins on flights departing the UK for the US and Caribbean from April 7-10.
On land, Virgin Atlantic is partnering with Full Circle Farms at its London Heathrow Clubhouse. The community farm carries out small-scale, regenerative farming processes in West Sussex, and will provide a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs to the lounge menu by July.
